History: Sadly, Zara was living in horrific conditions with little access to water and chained to a fence with no cover.  She is living the life now though with her foster. Her spirit was definitely NOT broken despite where she came from.  She loves to run and play and needs lots of exercise! She is a very sweet girl and loves all dogs. She hasn't met a cat up close, but showed no interest in the cat that lived outside at her former home. She is fully vetted and ready to go. She is potty-trained and crate-trained. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog as a playmate. She has a lot of energy, but will cuddle in bed with you at night.

Zara is an adventurous 1 year old girl.  She is a fun-loving pup and is a bit of a wild child but in the best of ways.  She adores running in the yard with her foster brothers and loves all of her canine friends.  She is also a great cuddle buddy for her foster mom.  Zara is currently in the Paws in Prison program, she will be graduating soon and is eager to find her forever family.  If you are looking for a playful companion who is always up for an adventure, she is the perfect match!  She is 55 lbs and a terrier mix!
