I, AND MEMBERS OF MY HOUSEHOLD, UNDERSTAND THAT THE
BUFORD PROJECT RESCUE AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES HAVE LIMITED
INFORMATION REGARDING THE TEMPERAMENT OF THE PET OR ITS
HABITS. I AND MEMBERS OF MY HOUSEHOLD WILL TAKE ALL
REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS (THROUGH THE USE OF CRATES, LEASHES,
SUPERVISION AND COMMON SENSE) TO ENSURE THE PET DOES NOT
RUN LOOSE, BECOME A NUISANCE, DESTROY PROPERTY, INJURE OR BE
INJURED BY ANOTHER ANIMAL OR INJURE OR BE INJURED BY ANY
PERSON.
By submitting an application to be a foster for a dog(s), or to adopt a dog(s) or to
volunteer for The Buford Project Rescue and handling a dog, I agree,
acknowledge and understand that: (a) the dog(s) being delivered to me by The
Buford Project Rescue are believed to be stray, abandoned, surrendered or
rescue animals, and (b) have unknown backgrounds, health conditions and
personality characteristics.
By submitting an application to be a foster for a dog(s) or adopt a dog(s) or to
volunteer for The Buford Project Rescue and handling a dog(s), I agree,
acknowledge and understand that The Buford Project Rescue is attempting to
provide charity care to meet a community need. There has been no professional
“vetting” of the dog(s) for health or safety risks.
Accordingly, by submitting an application, I agree to fully assume all risks that
may arise in any way associated with providing foster services for a dog(s),
adopting a dog(s) or volunteering to assist with a dog(s) including but not limited
to property damage and personal injury or bodily harm to me, members of my
household, visitors to my property, and/or other animals or pets in my care.
By this agreement I SPECIFICALLY WAIVE, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS
The Buford Project Rescue from any and all claims, demands, personal injury or
property damage related to these identified risks or in any way related to the
delivery of the dog(s) and agree that I AM INTENIONALLY AND FULLY
WAIVING ANY AND ALL SUCH CLAIMS.
I AND MEMBERS OF MY HOUSEHOLD HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE
AND HOLD HARMLESS THE BUFORD PROJECT RESCUE AND ANY
PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION ACTING ON ITS BEHALF OF AND FROM
ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS OR SUITS IN LAW OR EQUITY
DAMAGES, COSTS, EXPENSES, LOSS OF SERVICES, PERSONAL INJURY
OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ACTIONS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, WHETHER
KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, WHICH I OR ANY MEMBER OF MY HOUSEHOLD
MAY HAVE, NOW OR IN THE FUTURE, ARISING OUT OF, RELATING IN ANY
WAY TO, OR IN CONNNECTION WITH THE FOSTERING ANY DOG(S),
ADOPTION OF ANY DOG(S) AND/OR HANDLING ANY DOG(S) AS A VOLUNTEER ON BEHALF OF OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BUFORD
PROJECT RESCUE.
By submitting an application to foster, adopt or volunteer in any capacity for The
Buford Project Rescue I am acknowledging and agreeing to these terms.
