Hi, I’m Que Pasa!

Before you ask about my name, no, there isn’t some deep, mysterious story behind it. My foster mom just thought it was a cute, fun, slightly hippie-style name and she felt it was the perfect name for me.

My foster mom even did a DNA test on me, so we know exactly what I am—a Blue Heeler and Chihuahua mix. I know that sounds like an unusual combination, but somehow it works! According to my DNA results, I shouldn’t get much bigger than about 32 pounds, which is what I weigh now. I’ve got a pretty small bone frame, and honestly, some cats look like they could tower over me.

I have to tell you about one of my favorite games… FETCH! I absolutely LOVE it! There’s just one tiny thing…I have my own unique way of playing. I’ll race after the ball, grab it, and then proudly bring it back…well…about 10 feet away from you. My foster mom always laughs and says, “Bring it closer!” So I do…one little push at a time. I use my nose to roll the ball a few inches, then wait. She’ll tell me again, “Closer!” and I’ll roll it another few inches. We keep doing that over and over until I finally deliver it right to her feet. I think it’s a pretty fun game!

Another one of my favorite things in the whole world is having my face scratched. Ohhh…scratch my cheeks, and I’ll melt right into you. I’ll lean as hard as I can against your hand because I never want those cheek scratches to stop. It’s one of my happiest places to be.

I’m great with other dogs, great and I’m crazy smart. I learn things quickly!

I’m affectionate without being clingy, playful without being wild, and always ready to make you laugh.

Love,
Que Pasa
