Meet Monster

Monster: Our Quirky Cat in Need of a Loving Home! Get ready to fall in love with our charming rescue cat, who has a one-of-a-kind look that makes him truly special!  With his soft, thinning fur and an adorable large bald spot on the back of his neck, he's got a style all of his own.  At about eight years old, Monster has a story that’s a bit unclear, but what we do know is that he deserves love and stability.  Monster was supposedly a young lady's cat until she went off to college and passed him on to her grandparents. When she returned, she found him living in a barn, and while the details are a bit murky, it’s heartbreaking to see how pets can be tossed aside for reasons that just don’t add up.  Despite his somewhat confusing background, Monster is a distinguished gentleman with long, lanky legs that give him character. He may not be the best jumper, but he more than makes up for it with his affectionate nature.  His somewhat awkward jumping style just makes him even more unique.   He is truly one of a kind.  And if you have a dog, it's truly no worries.  Monster prides himself in being a fearless warrior and holds his own even with very large dogs.  In fact, when Monster encountered one of the resident dogs while home at Christmas break with Lance, Monster didn't need to raise his paw or spread his claws, he simply stood his ground with a mean look and a strong hiss.  Logan ran trembling behind Lance's mom. He’s in great health after a recent vet visit and is up to date on all of his vaccines and is currently being well-fed and cared for in his foster home with Lance, one of the Co-Founders of The Buford Project Rescue.   Monster is incredibly affectionate and loves to curl up with his foster parent while he studies. This quirky kitty is looking for a family that will appreciate his unique personality and provide him with the love he deserves.
