Hello there, my name is Millicent, and I’m a proud hound!

 If you’ve ever heard a hound bay, that’s me—you could say I’m quite expressive!   I was found abandoned in Central Arkansas and in pretty bad shape but I am gaining weight and looking healthier and healthier!!

I am being fostered with lots of canines of all ages and all personalities and all sizes. While I’m still discovering the wonders of play, I like to think I’ve mastered my role as the official cheerleader for my puppy friends when they’re wrestling. I prefer a bit of one-on-one playtime, and I always have a blast cheering on the lively antics of the younger ones in the pack!

I’m a well-behaved gal, crate trained and trusted enough to roam free when my humans are away. I promise, I don’t enjoy chewing things up!    When it comes to treats, I approach them with curiosity. I take my time investigating before I delicately take them from your hand. My gentle nibble is something I pride myself on!

I absolutely adore my soft bed, but guess what? I’ve just realized the joys of snuggling on the sofa! It’s my new favorite spot for cozy cuddles.
