We are excited to introduce you to Lucy, a sweet and calm dog, who is looking for her forever home!

Lucy is a gentle soul who enjoys her downtime indoors, curling up with her foster sister, Olive.  However she also knows how to have fun--she especially got the zoomies in the snow this past month! This smart girl is easy to train and has even learned commands through hand gestures just by watching her foster sister, Olive!  While she's tall and occasoionally indulges in a little counter surfing, she quickly responds to "no" and "get down".  On walks, she doesn't pull on the leash, although she can be a bit skittish in busy neighborhoods when cars go by but she is making great progress!

Lucy loves to get close, often putting her paws or her adorable face in your lap and giving you those deep, golden-eyed stares that melt your heart. She's patient when it comes to treats and knows how to wait her turn.  Toys are another favorite of hers--she loves turning them into tug-of-war challenges, but she's never chewed up anything!  Luch is also crate trained and has a knack for retrieving random items like magnets from the fridge and clothespins from closets, just to bring a little joy to her foster mom!  We also think Lucy would be an awesome companion for someone that wants a running companion!
