Hi… I’m Hannah.

My story is a little bit of a mystery. No one is quite sure where I came from, but I was found in central Arkansas at the beginning of April. The people helping me did find some older “lost dog” posts about me, so it seems like I had a home at some point… but no one really knows what happened after that or how I ended up on my own again.

What we do know is that I was found about 15 miles from where I’d originally been spotted, and the kind people who found me the second time made sure I got to safety. Since then, I’ve made my way into rescue, and now I’m getting a fresh start.

And let me tell you—I am so ready for it.

My foster family says I’m incredibly sweet (I don’t mean to brag, but… they’re right). I get along wonderfully with other dogs—big ones, small ones, all of them. I just really love having friends around. I’m also great on a leash and settled into my foster home right away like I’d been there forever.

To be honest, I think I might have been out on my own for a while before I was found. When I first got to my foster home, I slept for a-lot for the first couple of days.  I guess I was finally able to relax and feel safe again.

The good news is—I’m healthy, I’m happy, and I’m learning more every day about what it means to be part of a family. My rescue friends are still getting to know me, so they’ll share more about my personality as time goes on. But one thing they already know for sure?

I’m sweet as can be!

All I need now is someone to share it with.
