Hey there! It's me, Scout! I’m super excited to share a bit about my life with you!
I’m an athletic pup who loves to communicate with my family. Fetch is my game, and I’ve got an impressive recall—just call my name! I know all the tricks: sit, fetch, drop it, and stay. I get along great with my doggy pals and can’t resist some good roughhousing!
When I’m not playing, you’ll find me snuggled up on the couch, soaking up all the cuddles with my canine brothers or the family. I love to chill on the back of the couch beside my best buddy, a fluffy white terrier mix. We’re inseparable and have the best adventures together, especially our walks in the woods!
Car rides are my jam! I get extra excited for pup cups from our favorite coffee shop. My foster family splits their time between Texas and Arkansas, so I get to travel back and forth. Long car rides are a blast because I love exploring new places and running free!
If you’re looking for a playful and cuddly companion, I’m your guy! Let’s make some unforgettable memories together!

My story starts when I found myself on a hiking trail with my two siblings and our mom. We were just pups – plump and healthy and lucky enough to be found after a day or so. A kind rescue squad then swooped in and found me a foster family!
So, I may not be a Hollywood star, but trust me, there’s definitely something special about me. The nice rescue lady had me at her house and she laughed so hard because all of the dogs wanted to be my friend. Even the old dog that’s 15 trotted after me! They all wanted to be my friend! She said that I am just like Cameron Diaz in the movie, “There is Something About Mary”. Everybody likes me! It must be my charming personality and irresistible good looks, complete with unique markings.
I absolutely adore car rides, love long walks and romping with every dog in sight whether they’re big, small, young, or old. And don’t even get me started on my gentleness! I’ve mastered the art of the perfect “I’d love your toy, please” look – trust me, it works every time!
Remember, it’s not just something about Dottie – it’s everything!

Addie is a lovable rescue dog with a playful spirit. She discovered great joy in a little squirrel toy that brings out her zoomies. She can be sneaky though! She tried to steal her foster mom’s slippers, but Addie was just as happy to have an old shoe instead when her foster switched the two around. Deep down, Addie is a dog that wants to please and is eager to bond with her new family. Cats should be a good companion for her although she finds them a bit suspicious but has never given chase, which shows her gentle nature. A quote from her foster, “She is precious. She and Tresi (foster’s own dog) are new best friends, and she's even coming up to me for petting. She's going to make someone an amazing dog."
