Hi there! My name is Betty Boop, and I have quite the story to tell! I used to be called "Bette Chance" because someone thought I deserved a second chance at a happy life. But the nice rescue decided Betty suits me better, and then my foster mom added "Boop" to reflect my playful personality—now I’m Betty Boop!   I’m an extremely happy girl and absolutely adore cats, other dogs, and kiddos! Right now, I'm being fostered with five friendly cats (well a couple aren't so friendly so I stay clear of them)  and a big dog. When my foster mom travels, I get to go on vacation with another family that has two dogs—talk about a fun adventure!   I love going for walks and absolutely relish car rides. When I poke my nose out of the front window, I feel just like Mrs. Kravitz from the old comedy show Bewitched, peeking at the world around me. I don't bark much; I prefer to observe and enjoy the antics of my neighbors!   I adore my feline friends, even though some of them can be a bit scary, but I find comfort in snuggling with the nice ones. Plush pillows are my favorite spots; I love to lounge and soak in all the cuddles. I’d absolutely love a family that dresses me up for holidays—I shine in costumes, whether I’m a ladybug or something else whimsical!  My foster mom says that I am EXCELLENT at counter surfing but for some reason she didn't like it that I ate  a huge Costco tub of chocolate chip cookies.  I thought she would be happy that I enjoyed them so much but I guess in hindsight I should have shared with everyone but the tub was so tasty I just couldn't find a stopping point.  I once had a wonderful family, but they divorced, and I found myself with someone who couldn’t care for me properly. Thankfully, she reached out to my rescue folks, and now I’m in a loving foster home. They tell me I'm going to find a forever family, and I truly hope it's you!   I love to run in circles in the yard and get my zoomies on, but I’m also content to curl up on the couch while you sip your tea or coffee. I’m eager for my own home and my own family again. Please consider adopting me—together, we could create a lifetime of happy memories!
